~03~====~09~[~0B~Macros Help~09~]~03~==============================================================
Keyboard Macros are for inserting a pre-recorded string of text into anywhere
where you are allowed to insert a string of text. For example, when "Adding
your two cents" at one of the inns, or sending a message to another player,
or writing on the black wall, or the graffiti wall, etc.
Lets look at a step by step example....
1) Select the (R)ecord Macros option from any planets main menu.
2) If you have not yet defined any keyboard macros, then all 3 of the
available slots, will read "Empty." Else, they will contain the macro
strings that you have already recorded.
3) Select the number of the string you wish to record or "re-record."
4) You will then be shown a prompt similar to below,
Enter Your Macro String Below MAX┐

Type in the macro string you wish to be recorded. Usually this will be
something that pertains to a recurring event, like when you kill another
player, and say something in the news about it. You could use something
like, "Another notch in my XT Missle Launcher! Who's Next??"
5) After that the macro string you recorded will be shown at the "Record
Which Macro?" prompt. When you are finished recording the ones you want,
press D (or ENTER) to return to the main menu.
6) Now to use the macros, say you just killed another player, and when asked
if you wish to say something in the daily news, you selected Yes. Now the
prompt will look similar to this,
Spill Your Thoughts MAX┐

Now to use one of the macros you recorded, press the number of the macro
you want to use on the BLANK line, and press ENTER, and that macro string
will be inserted as your text! This can also be used when sending a
message to another player. The main two rules to remember are,
A) Make sure you already have macros recorded!
B) Make sure you press the number of the macro you want to use on a BLANK
line, then press ENTER. The number of the macro you want to use should
be the ONLY text on the line in order for it to work.
